In every vibrant, culturally active community, the arts are key to the quality of life and health of the economy. Brunswick Arts Council was established in 1981 to oversee and support a variety of arts experiences for all residents and visitors, including seniors, adults, children, artists and the community at large. As the Designated Community Partner of the North Carolina Arts Council, BAC assists other non-profit art organizations through Grassroots funding. Brunswick Arts Council outreach includes scholarships, grants for individual artists and groups, and enrichment programs for Brunswick County Schools, and listing events and artists on our website.
