Angie Azur-http://www.wholehumanhealthy.comAngie has her Ph.D. in progress studying ancient wisdom, art as healing, and Jungian dream analysis. She guides groups in healing art classes. Her dream is to create a healing art book to guide those that cannot travel to her classes. She also works with women to help release past sexual trauma and guiding individuals with PTSD using art, spirituality, meditation, yoga, and ancient healing modalities.Individual MembershipMaria Liberto Bessette-http://libertosgallery.comMaria Liberto Bessette Artist Biography Maria, formally of Dover Delaware, has been a resident of Magnolia Greens, Leland NC since 2017. A member of ALL, Wilmington Art Assoc, Oak Island Art Guild, and Brunswick Arts Council. Locally she is best know for founding and establishing a global chapter of urbansketchers.org, Urban Sketchers Wilmington NC. It is now in it's 5th year, with 175+ members, meeting biweekly, drawing and sharing art in the Cape Fear Area. A longtime advocate of the arts, she has directed many art groups such as Holly Branch of the National League of American Pen Women, non-profit Dover Art League, Plein Air Painters of the Mid-Atlantic and membership in many art organizations and museums in the Mid-Atlantic. Her art has been selected for many juried, group and solo exhibits in the North East and now, South East Region. You will find Maria's art in many permanent collections including the State of Delaware Folk Art Collection and Historical Societies. Maria is a visual plein air and studio artist featuring urban sketches, watercolor, oil and acrylic paintings of still life, landscape, natural habitat, and travel scenes and most recently the Cape Fear Area. Also a decorative painter specializing in painted canvas rugs and faux furniture painting. She has participated in local, regional, national and international photo competitions, and has been published in several magazines. She is a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA), the Coastal Carolina Camera Club, Seacoast Artists Guild and the Brunswick Arts Council. Carmen combines her passion for photography with her love for travel.
