On Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 4:30 pm, the WSW will present a program featuring Dmitri Shostakovich’s lone symphonic poem entitled October, Op. 131 as well as other orchestral transcriptions by Hector Berlioz and relative newcomer Adam Schoenberg – a Grammy-nominated and Emmy Award-winning American composer. This concert also marks the return of violinist, Danijela Žeželj-Gualdi, who will elicit visions of ghostly spirits with her featured performance of Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre, Op. 40.
