The 4 x 4 Mini Masterpieces Gala, presented by the Brunswick Arts Council, was a highlight of the season for many years. Lovers and supporters of the arts from all over enjoyed elegant food, top-notch entertainment, and beautiful artwork. On May 12, 2018, for the first time since 2011, the Gala will be back and it will be bigger and better than ever!
From Rick Corso’s website:
“Rick Corso was selected as one of Showtime’s Comedy Club All-stars and picked to be a member of Comedy Central’s “The A-List.” He talks about daily frustrations, politics, relationships, his Italian family and growing up in New Jersey, hitting home with all audiences by finding the right mixture of topics for any demographic.
He moves smoothly in and out of characters – including an Italian trying to tip his way to the front of a funeral line – and some lively impressions. His excellent use of his voice and his body combined with well-written material make his stage personalities freshly funny and a far cry from the stale stereotypes employed by many stand-ups.”
And we have it on good authority that if you close your eyes when he does his Frank Sinatra impression, you would think Ol’ Blue Eyes is back.
And of course, the Gala would not be the same without the namesake Mini Masterpieces. Each ticket-holder will receive a unique original work of art, created by one of Brunswick County’s incredible artists.
So, be sure to SAVE THE DATE for the return of Brunswick Art Council’s 4 x 4 Mini Masterpieces Gala on May 12, 2018 at one of Brunswick County’s finest venues, 101 Stone Chimney Place.
Proceeds from the event will go to help the Brunswick Arts Council’s mission to inspire and promote appreciation, education and support for a broad range of arts and cultural interests for the benefit of Brunswick County’s artists, art-related organizations, students and the community at large.
Time of event subject to change. Cost, emcee and guest of honor to be announced.
