For the second year in a row, the Brunswick Arts Council has awarded a second $1000 scholarship to a student in Brunswick County. The second scholarship was given to Natalie Flow, a senior at South Brunswick High School.
Natalie has been active in Brunswick Little Theatre, her school band, and gives of her time by volunteering at senior assisted living facilities. She has been accepted to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The Brunswick Arts Council scholarship is awarded annually to deserving students seeking to begin higher education and/or vocational studies beyond secondary education. Prior to awarding the scholarship, the BAC reviews Brunswick County Schools’ student applicants from various social, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds who are interested in educational opportunities for scholarships that will empower those recipients to become informed and educated contributors to society.
