The Brunswick Arts Council has announced the winners of their 16th Annual Fall Exhibition. The show took place at Sunset River Marketplace Art Gallery in Calabash, NC, from Monday, October 17 through Saturday, October 22.
The show featured around 145 different pieces of art from various media, including 2D, 3D, and Photography.Rozanne Anderson captured the Best of Show Award for her watercolor piece entitled
“Jazz Impressions.” Along with the title, she was given a cash prize of $500.The First Place 2D prize and $300 was awarded to Sharon Bowling for “Mackerel Sky.”

First Place 3D  and $300 went to Betsy Sellers for “Gathering Autumn”, a branch bowl.

Louis Aliotta won the First Place Photography and $300 for “Mom’s Tulips.”

Lisa Blayton’s piece, entitled “Drifting”, was the winner of the Gerloven Memorial Award $100.
The Oak Island Art Guild Award and $100 was presented to Donna Ferrandino for her work, “From Order Comes Chaos.”
Waterway Art Association chose Dale Hackmann’s “On The Pond” as its winner. He was also given a cash prize of $100.
The People’s Choice Award was given to Deborah Weber for her photo “In Flight.”
Merit Awards and $50 went to Richard Staat, Joyce Grazetti, Eileen Gordon, Jean Rundle, Frank Palmer, and Louis Aliotta.
Honorable Mentions and $25 were given to Frank Palmer, Marta MacCallam, Don Bashore, Linda Drye, and Greta Swaim.
