Wilmington, NC…1-September2016: In celebration of its 10th year, the Coastal Carolina Clay Guild’s annual HOLIDAY SHOW and SALE will open with an artist’s reception from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on
Friday evening, November 4. Music will be provided by members of the Tallis Chamber Orchestra of Wilmington along with refreshments. The SHOW and SALE will continue on Saturday and Sunday, November 5 & 6 from 10:00-4:00 each day at the Hannah Block Community Arts Center. The Community Arts Center is located at 120 South Second Street, Wilmington, NC. Admission is FREE.
Over the past 10 years, the SHOW and SALE has grown in popularity featuring Clay Guild members from all over Southeastern North Carolina. Members will be exhibiting and selling their work at the show.
Each artist represented in the show will donate a piece for the raffle. All proceeds from the raffle will benefit Empty Bowls and other community projects. Those attending may purchase chances to win artwork of their choice. You need not be present to win.
The Coastal Carolina Clay Guild, a 501-C3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 2007 by a group of Wilmington potters to promote and exchange information about all types of ceramic arts and to
provide mutual support, encouragement, and education for its members and for the community. Its membership now includes over 100 ceramic artists from the Southeast coastal region. The guild offers workshops each year with nationally known potters and clay artists for members and the community.

The next Clay Guild Meeting will be held November 8, 5:30pm at the Hannah Block Community Arts Center, 120 South 2nd St. downtown Wilmington.
